Founded in 2019, our story began in Michigan with the creation of BRAFoods. Like good Brazilians, we really missed fluffy rice, fresh cheese bread for afternoon tea, and so many other flavors that only Brazilian cuisine can offer.

That's how our online store was born — with the goal of making it easier to access ingredients and foods that are part of the Brazilian table. From traditional brands to regional delicacies, we seek to bring the best of our gastronomy to those who live outside of Brazil but carry the country in their hearts.

With hard work, dedication, and community support, we had six very successful years serving Brazilians in Michigan.

Now, after a short break, we're resuming our mission — this time directly from Florida, with even more variety, speed, and closer relationships with our customers.

And that's how Pitanga Brazil was born!

The pitanga is a small, deep red tropical fruit native to Brazil, known for its unique flavor—both sweet and slightly sour.

The pitanga is much more than a fruit: it's a symbol of childhood memories, backyards full of trees, and the joy of sharing simple moments with family and friends.

By choosing this name, we celebrate our roots and share a piece of Brazilian culture.
